The Annual Sandringham Flower Show
2009
Greycat Gardeners were delighted to be awarded a Gold Medal for their 2009 showgarden at Sandringham. Judges Chris Beardshaw and Alan Mason commented particularly on the subtle use of colour in the planting. Many of the plants in the showgarden were supplied by Charisma Plant Centre at Swainsthorpe and the much admired griffin statue is one of a range made by Pheebert’s. Pheebert’s ‘Wyvern’ garden statue
2008
Our 2008 showgarden, which was awarded a Silver Medal by the judges, had a contemporary look on 3 levels. The pale coloured timber blended well with the wicker garden furniture and a wrought iron trellis panel gave height to the design. The planting was in shades of lime, blue and white, with dramatic splashes of deep crimson provided by
Dahlia
‘Soulman’ and the foliage of
Heuchera
‘Can Can’.
