This North Norfolk property sits atop a large and steeply sloping garden. The existing patio was vast but uninteresting and did not relate to either the house or the landscape beyond. The new design drops some of this area down, leaving a wide, upper walkway which follows the contours of the building and is edged with a bespoke design wrought iron balustrade. Two lower terraces have been created beneath, the upper of which contains a formal parterre, whilst the lower level wraps right around the building and contains a large, octagonal seating area and infinity edge pond.
